Turning functionality in Mastercam 2021 includes enhancements for Lathe solid chaining. In this video, find out how the use of a spin profile creates a more accurate profile than a slice profile, without the need for temporary geometry. Plus, check out other improvements like the addition of the Dynamic option to Lathe solid chaining.
Turning enhancements for Mastercam 2021 include a new Lathe Custom Thread toolpath for machining. It is designed to simplify and streamline your programming workflow. This video also demonstrates how you can select chained geometry to represent the thread cross-section or choose one of four parametric definitions: Rope, Buttress, Square, or Trapezoidal.
