Mastercam 2021 includes many enhancements to help you streamline your manufacturing process, from job setup to job completion. Our series of What’s New videos is available for you to check out these improvements for yourself. Today, let’s take a look at a couple of videos demonstrating Mastercam 2021 Turning Enhancements to improve the ease and functionality of your CAD/CAM process.
A number of 3D tooling enhancements have been added to Mastercam 2021. This video walks you through the highlights, including improvements to the Holder Designer, support for multiple definitions and multiple inserts, and even more options for control and convenience.
The Pickoff-Cutoff toolpath has been enhanced in Mastercam 2021 to better support Swiss Machines. You will notice a Lathe mode, similar to previous versions, plus the addition of Swiss mode, triggered by a switch in the post. Check out how these options are set up to give you control and flexibility for Swiss-style lathes.
