Introducing Masters of CAM
Masters of CAM is a new website showcasing the skills and accomplishments of Mastercam users worldwide. It is a content-sharing site where anyone interested in manufacturing can watch videos about the innovators and makers that are shaping the world around us.
If you use Mastercam, www.mastersofcam.com is a platform to show off your accomplishments, demonstrate your proficiency, and check out what your peers are sharing. Anyone with an existing Mastercam.com account can log in to submit a story.
If you do not already have a Mastercam.com account, you can create one for free. These credentials are all you need to get started on your journey as a Master of CAM.
When a story you submit is published, you will receive exclusive Masters of CAM merchandise. We’ll send you a t-shirt for your first story.
For inspiration, another type of content you will see on Masters of CAM are Featured Stories. These were produced to supplement our user-generated content and present some profound stories from the Mastercam community.
What makes a good story?
If you are excited about something, chances are other people will take interest. That’s the basis of a good story.
What you are experiencing in your education or professional career will naturally shape the types of stories you may tell. In general, think about how you are using Mastercam to improve your life, challenge yourself, and push boundaries to make a difference.
Think of your Masters of CAM profile as a place to share your journey as you build proficiency and evolve your craft. Where you are in your experience using Mastercam will be a part of that journey. It may be a video about a specific project or competition, or it can be a broader reflection on how your work on a product or project has made a difference.
As Masters of CAM continues to develop, we look forward to seeing how you will use this site to make a statement, show your stuff, and share your cutting-edge stories.
