Getting in Gear with Florida International University
Mastercam sponsors SAE International student design competitions by providing free software and educational support to participating teams. Andres Rojas is President of Panther Motorsports at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. He reached out to give us some information about the team and their recent participation in FSAE competition.
Andres shared that forty students participated in the past season, where they competed at FSAE Michigan. The team benefitted from the ability to create toolpaths to manufacture components using Mastercam. Panther Motorsports used our CAD/CAM to design their foot pedals and final drive sprocket. They also used Mastercam University to get more familiar with the software.
