Adjusting to Shifting Conditions

Meghan West, our President, and CEO, recently contributed a Viewpoints column in Manufacturing Engineering titled, Shift Happens! In it, she shares personal and strategic reflections on adjusting to shifting conditions as a result of the global pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus.

These adjustments are the type any organization must make to survive sudden changes in the market. Many may have been caught off guard by the pandemic, but we will all be dealing with the consequences—foreseen and unforeseen—long into the future.

It’s not all bad news, but change can be uncomfortable for many. Ideally, we should all remain vigilant and prepared to adjust to changing circumstances in order to find opportunities in challenging times.

As a result, one way we have decided to help is by creating the Dynamic Thinking series. If you are a Mastercam user, run a machine shop, or are simply looking for strategies to keep a shop running as productively and efficiently as possible, you are encouraged to explore this new initiative. This series includes training opportunities, webinars, and more to help you find ways to adapt to changing conditions and expectations in manufacturing markets.
