Dear Mastercam Family,
First and foremost, I hope that you are taking every precaution to remain safe and healthy! Your wellbeing and the wellbeing of your loved ones is your top priority.
This global event is like nothing we have ever experienced. The one solace I can take away from it is that we are all in this together. I have seen inspiring examples of humanity coming together to help get us through this historical moment in time. It’s hard to really know what the next few weeks and months will look like. There are no guarantees as to when life will return to normal, or what the new normal will be, but what I can guarantee is that we have an amazing support system here that will be more important than ever to lean on. The strength of the Mastercam family becomes that much more valuable in times like these.

In order to do our part as a proactive and socially responsible company, we became nearly 100% remote on Monday, the 16th of March. Fortunately, we were already set up with the technology to make this move seamlessly, operating with much of our work force on a remote basis on any given day. Our progressive policies and strong virtual tools have allowed us to make this shift with minimal disruption to productivity. Our entire team has continued working hard to help solve the world’s manufacturing challenges.
Because work and school routines have been disrupted for so many, Mastercam will be offering free training opportunities for distance learning in the days ahead. This is our way to help you stay engaged in an industry that will be critical to helping the world manufacture equipment that is currently helping to save lives. Please keep an eye on our social media channels for details. We will do our best to make you aware of opportunities to get started learning Mastercam or to sharpen your skills from the comfort of your own home. We hope this will give everyone a practical way to make good use of extra time at home.
Keep in mind that the entire world is experiencing the same thing. One of my favorite company values here at CNC Software is: We succeed as one team. Right now, we are presented with a very real opportunity to come together—even as we practice social distancing for the safety of all. Practice compassion, refocus on what is important, and remember that we will get through this together.
Sincerely,
Meghan West
