19 agosto 2022 (Tolland, Conn.) – CNC Software, LLC, sviluppatore del software CAD\/CAM Mastercam, ospiter\u00e0 un evento Manufacturing Day\u00ae il 7 ottobre 2022 presso la sua sede di Tolland, Connecticut, 671 Old Post Road. La celebrazione si rivolger\u00e0 agli studenti interessati al settore manifatturiero e funger\u00e0 da vetrina per le opportunit\u00e0 del settore. <\/p>\n\n

Secondo la Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA), il settore manifatturiero del Connecticut impiega pi\u00f9 di 153.000 persone e aggiunge quasi 30 miliardi di dollari al PIL annuale dello stato. Tuttavia, quasi il 20% della forza lavoro sta per andare in pensione e il settore manifatturiero \u00e8 ancora in crescita. L’indagine 2021 sulle esigenze della forza lavoro manifatturiera del Connecticut ha rilevato che il 55% delle aziende intervistate ha avuto difficolt\u00e0 a trovare lavoratori, l’1% ha avuto problemi a trattenerli e il 32% ha avuto problemi sia a trovare che a trattenere i dipendenti. <\/p>\n\n

Ai partecipanti all’evento Manufacturing Day di CNC Software verr\u00e0 mostrato come iniziare una carriera nel settore manifatturiero. Un gruppo di rappresentanti di vari reparti dell’azienda parler\u00e0 agli studenti dei loro lavori e del loro background e risponder\u00e0 alle domande. Gli studenti assisteranno a una dimostrazione di “Design then Cut” che segue il processo di progettazione di un pezzo in Mastercam fino al taglio del pezzo con una macchina CNC. Gli studenti potranno anche vedere da vicino l’auto di Formula SAE dell’Universit\u00e0 del Connecticut, un esempio di progettazione e ingegneria guidata dagli studenti. Nel tempo libero, gli studenti possono mangiare una pizza e interagire tra loro e con i membri del team SAE per fare domande sul programma. <\/p>\n\n

Il Manufacturing Day \u00e8 stato lanciato dalla Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, International\u00ae nel 2012 come iniziativa nazionale per cambiare la visione che il pubblico ha dell’industria manifatturiera moderna e per fornire una piattaforma ai produttori per comunicare le loro sfide e i loro successi.
