Le vice-pr\u00e9sident et directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, Trent Toner, explique : \u00ab\u00a0Dans le cadre d&rsquo;un projet, nous avons con\u00e7u un ravitailleur de barres sur mesure qui alimentait en mat\u00e9riaux un centre d&rsquo;usinage vertical. La machine a \u00e9t\u00e9 exp\u00e9di\u00e9e dans nos locaux o\u00f9 nous avons con\u00e7u et fabriqu\u00e9 les montages, l&rsquo;outillage et \u00e9crit les programmes. Nous effectuons tous les palpages macro int\u00e9gr\u00e9s avec des dispositifs de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Nous avons mis \u00e0 niveau la machine avec des dispositifs de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 suppl\u00e9mentaires, form\u00e9 les op\u00e9rateurs et exp\u00e9di\u00e9 le syst\u00e8me en usinage o\u00f9 nous l&rsquo;avons install\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb <\/p>\n\n<p>Selon Toner, ils \u00e9crivent des programmes CNC pour toutes les pi\u00e8ces de pr\u00e9cision dont ils auront besoin en utilisant Mastercam pour les op\u00e9rations de construction\/machine. Pendant que leur \u00e9quipement CNC d\u00e9coupe une pi\u00e8ce, les programmeurs\/usiniers sont occup\u00e9s \u00e0 concevoir des solutions de maintien de pi\u00e8ce et \u00e0 \u00e9crire des programmes pour les prochaines \u00e0 venir. Si un gars programme une pi\u00e8ce en une heure et qu&rsquo;il en faut huit pour la fabriquer, cela lui permet de suivre le rythme de nos calendriers de conception et de construction exigeants.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n<p>Toner works very closely with its Mastercam Reseller, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.barefootcnc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Barefoot CNC<\/a> in Morganton, North Carolina, to standardize tool libraries and toolpaths to ensure the manufacturing strategy chosen for the job is efficient, accurate, and eliminates the possibility of human error. Based on this work, Toner has transitioned almost all of its roughing programs from conventional toolpaths to those incorporating Mastercam\u2019s Dynamic Motion technology. The workpieces consisted of 100-pound blocks of aluminum measuring 3 x 20 x 36 inches. In half the time it took to manufacture the same type of part using a conventional process, this part was whittled down to 15 pounds, leaving a 35-gallon barrel of chips beside the machine.
