Cycles can be customized through user-defined parameters with assisting drawings that make it easy to see what each parameter controls in the cycle. For convenience, CIMCO Probing can intelligently fill in parameter values based on stock model geometry. Surface Probing makes it easy to select surface points and surface normal on curved geometry.For any point chosen on the model, a measuring cycle is generated and the result of the measurements is compared with the 3d model.

Probe manager is an add-on to Mastercam which gives users the power to program complete touch probing cycles inside of Mastercam. You have the option to program all touch probe cycles which are installed on your Heidenhain / Siemens / Mazak / Fanuc controls to provide the power to achieve more accurate machining results.
Options include:
- Compensation for workpiece misalignment.
- Write the measured values from touch probe cycles in a datum table.
- Circle center as reference point.
- Set reference points based on circular bosses.
- Time savings, as no more measurement programs must be written on the machine.
- Collision avoidance, since the programmed cycle can be checked.
