Mastercam Backplot includes Copyrighted intellectual property rights owned by NWD. SolidWorks is a registered trademark of DS SolidWorks Corporation. Mastercam Art uses the Wild Magic Geometric Libraries, which are Copyrighted intellectual property owned by Geometric Tools, LLC. The Wild Magic Geometric Libraries are licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License, available at http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/lgpl.html and on the Mastercam installation media.

Other company and product names are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners.

Overview

• The Mastercam.com User Forum is intended to be used by Mastercam Customers, Instructors, Students, and Resellers.
• We encourage all users to participate in applicable forums. Please try to keep discussions on topic and in the correct forum. Off topic post may be moved to a different forum.
• CNC Software employees will actively participate in the Maintenance-only forums, but Resellers and other users are strongly encouraged to help other users as well.
• Try to avoid posting redundant content. Use the search function to try and find a topic if you believe it may have been discussed already.
• To prevent the use of illicit, copyrighted, or proprietary content, file uploads directly to the forum are not permitted.

Warranties and Disclaimers

Considering the real-time nature of User Forums in general, it is impossible for us to review all messages or confirm the validity of information posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any post, and are not responsible for the contents of any post.

The posts express the views of the author, not necessarily the views of CNC Software, Inc. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email or private message. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

Rules

CNC Software, Inc. reserves the right to delete any message for any reason whatsoever. Messages are typically deleted as a result of the following:

• Profanity, acronyms representing profanity, or racism within subject lines, signatures, or messages deemed to be blatant as opposed to incidental.
• Posting material that does not pertain to Mastercam or any of the forum sub-categories.
• Commercial solicitation or spamming.
• Insulting other members with the intent of inciting or perpetuating a conflict or argument.
• Littering forums or individual threads with repetitive, pointless posts.
• Posting personal e-mail or chat dialogues.
• Posting pornographic or otherwise objectionable material.
• Impersonating other individuals or false representation.
• Discussing illegal activity or posting links to other websites that deal with such activities.
• Posts made under secondary usernames or other aliases.
• Posts which are completely unrelated to the forum in which they are posted.
• Excessive cross-posting (this is considered spam).
• Posts which breach another member's privacy (i.e. containing phone numbers, addresses, or other personal information).
• Copyright violations.
• Discussions regarding pricing of Mastercam. Mastercam is a global product and prices fluctuate for many reasons including service levels, localization and distribution expenses, etc.
• Issues with Resellers. These disputes should be resolved with the Resellers directly or with CNC software. Please contact sales.questions@mastercam.com for any issues of this nature.

User who violate the above rules will receive anywhere from a verbal warning to a lifetime ban and possible criminal charges depending on the severity of the offence.

Acceptable Use of Forums

You agree, through your use of the User Forums, that you will not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, sexually oriented, abusive, hateful, vulgar, harassing, profane, obscene, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or illegal.

You agree, through your use of the User Forums, not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by yourself or you have explicit permission to do so.

You agree, through your use of the User Forums, not to post advertising of any kind in the Forums whether you are a private party or company.

CNC Software, Inc. also reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL CNC SOFTWARE, INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES RELATING TO LOST REVENUES OR PROFITS, LOST DATA, WORK STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION) RESULTING FROM OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE USE OF ANY MATERIALS POSTED ON OR MADE AVAILABLE IN THE DISCUSSION FORUMS OR ANY OTHER WEB SITE TO WHICH A LNK IS PROVIDED OR ON WHICH A LINK IS PROVIDED TO THESE DISCUSSION FORUMS, EVEN IF MASTERCAM.COM HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH SUCH DAMAGES ARE BASED.
