This is the second year CNC Software has partnered with the UCONN Formula SAE program. UCONN Formula SAE offers its members a real world engineering experience. Each component of the car requires members to design, analyze both cost and performance, and fabricate. For the 2015 car, CNC Software staff has paired up with members of the SAE program to create an intake manifold and runner boots.
UCONN Formula SAE is a student run organization, and relies heavily on school aid and sponsorships. This allows members to learn how use cost effective engineering in their designs, much like a real world engineer. Click
